all members on a team agree that they are financially and legally
responsible for any equipment or supplies that they check out including
both the condition of the equipment as well as any misuse of the equipment
that may result in damage or injury.
They also certify they have read the checkout and

This catalog lists all the parts available for teams from
Senior Design I and Senior Design II to check out for their projects.
Parts to check out are listed by category.
By
checking out parts from the ECEN department to use during a project all
members on a team agree to the terms and conditions listed below:
- All teams are financially and legally responsible for any equipment
or supplies that they check out. This responsibility includes both the
condition of the equipment as well as any misuse of the equipment that
may result in damage or injury to themselves or others.
- Equipment, supplies, and tools will be checked out according the
equipment checkout policy.
- Equipment, supplies, and tools must be returned as outlined in the
equipment return policy or teams may
be charged for repair or replacement of any and all equipment and
supplies..

New Catalog Policy
- Your team is allowed to check out only the number of components
needed to build your project. Any extra or additional components
are assumed to be needed because of damage to the original components
and the cost of these will be immediately charged to the bursar account
of the person placing the order.
- Component orders can only be placed by people with the
components certification. Log in with your OSU userid (i.e. jsmith) and 8 digit CWID as the password.
- Equipment costing over $500 will only be visible to people with
the
test and measurement certification who log in. To log in use your OSU userid (i.e. jsmith) and 8 digit CWID as the password.
- Orders for equipment that duplicates the function of equipment your
team already has will be ignored. A need for additional equipment
or exchange of equipment must be taken up directly with the instructor
or TA's.
- Orders will be filled Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Please
plan ahead in checking out needed parts.
- You must provide a technical
justification for equipment over $500 in the Additional Information field of the order checkout screen. Orders without this justifications will may less expensive equipment
substituted. If you are unsure about how to write a good technical
justification, please contact the instructor or TA's before
placing an order.
